K-pop girl group aespa set the stage on fire during their performance at The Governors Ball Music Festival 2023, held in New York on the 10th (local time), according to their agency, SM Entertainment.
The Governors Ball Festival is an annual outdoor music festival that spans over three days in New York. This year’s event featured popular American pop stars, including aespa, Lizzo, Odessa, and Kendrick Lamar. aespa became the first K-pop group to perform at this festival.
During their set, aespa showcased a range of hit songs, including “Black Mamba,” “Next Level,” “Savage,” and “Spicy,” captivating the audience with a total of 10 tracks. Unfortunately, member Giselle was unable to attend the event due to health issues.
The group is now gearing up for their solo concert in Jakarta, Indonesia, scheduled for the 24th, where they will meet their local fans.
