During the later part of 2022, rumors circulated about a potential relationship between V from BTS and Jennie, accompanied by leaked photos posted by an anonymous Telegram user named Gurumiharibo.
YG Entertainment released a statement regarding the leaking of Jennie’s personal photos, promising to take illegal action against the “original distributor.”
Since then there have been couple photos of them surfacing every now and then with fans engaged in heated discussions, presenting arguments both for and against the authenticity of the images, until today.
A video surfaced, allegedly taken by a photographer based in Paris named Amar Taoualit, showing the two celebrities strolling hand in hand on the streets of Paris. They appeared to be enjoying the nighttime ambiance while being followed by individuals assumed to be their managers.
V departed from Incheon Airport in South Korea on May 15, 2023, heading to France, captivating online users with his stylish airport attire. Meanwhile, YG Entertainment had previously confirmed that Jennie would also be present in Paris during the same period for the 76th Cannes Film Festival.
Jennie’s agency YG Entertainment also confirmed Jennie’s plan in France later this month.
She will attend the Cannes Film Festival on May 22 through her role in the drama series, ‘The Idol.’ The show was listed in the non-competition section of the film festival.

Twitter users have observed that the two idols were seen wearing the same outfits as the individuals captured in the earlier videos during the day.
Regarding this, HYBE and YG Entertainment stated on the 18th that “We do not know due to it being regarding the artists’ private lives” and has not released an official statement.
