YG Entertainment, the management agency of the girl group BLACKPINK, announced on the 1st that member Jisoo (김지수) has tested positive for COVID-19 and will be unable to participate in the upcoming Osaka World Tour concert in Japan, scheduled for 3-4 days later.
The statement from YG Entertainment sheds light on the situation, explaining that Jisoo had experienced mild cold symptoms at the end of last month. However, after conducting a self-test, she received a negative result and assumed it was just a minor ailment. Unfortunately, subsequent testing yielded a final positive diagnosis today.
