Bruno Mars, the popular pop singer, recently shared behind-the-scenes moments from his after-party following his visit to South Korea, causing a stir among fans. In particular, the attention was drawn to a photo that captured the face of choreographer AIKI.
On the 21st June, Bruno Mars posted a message and a photo on his social media, saying, “I may have hidden my wings, but you can’t fool me. Thank you, my adorable guardian angel.” The photo he shared showcased the scene from the after-party held on the 18th in Seoul, following his concert.
The picture prominently featured Bruno Mars’ Korean bodyguard, while next to him stood dancer AIKI, who attended the after-party. AIKI’s expression, unable to hide her happiness, caught even more attention.
Upon seeing the post, Girls’ Generation’s Sooyoung tagged AIKI’s account and commented, “Is that you?” In response, AIKI jokingly replied, “I didn’t want to be immortalized on oppa’s feed like this,” evoking laughter.
AIKI later shared the video on her Instagram Story, invoking laughter, and tagging Sooyoung and asking her “Is that me?”.
Everyone found this coincidental encounter hilarious as no matter how popular artists themselves are, infront of the people they consider celebrities, they end up just like us a normal fan boy/girl.
Meanwhile, Bruno Mars made his long-awaited return to South Korea after nine years, performing at the Seoul Olympic Stadium as part of the “Hyundai Card Super Concert 27 Bruno Mars.”
