Girl group Hashtag, consisting of five members, has announced their comeback after a four-year hiatus with their new song ‘Diamond’ scheduled to be released on June 12th at 12 p.m.
To mark their comeback on the 12th, they will start recording for Arirang TV’s ‘Simply K-Pop’ and will also have a live broadcast of ‘Simply K-Pop Contour’ on YouTube at 7 p.m.
The comeback song, created by the five members Hyeonji, Sua, Seungmin, Subin, and Sojin, embodies their desire to become a girl group that remains as timeless as a diamond.
The production of the new song began in November 2022, and the producing team MIO’s NJ composer and the choreography team MS company, led by choreographer Ahn Hyo-min, who has worked with many artists such as Lee Hyori, Bada, Son Dam-bi, TVXQ, SHINee, and Kim Hyun-joong, have put their utmost effort into creating the song. The choreography team also includes choreographer Miso and the members of Hashtag. Various promotional plans are currently being implemented.
During the preparation period for the album, Hashtag has been active as ambassadors for various organizations such as the Korean National Athletes Association, Chungju City, World Police Martial Arts Federation, Korea Multicultural Foundation, and 1004 Club Sharing Community.
Starting from June 12th until the end of June, they have planned various activities including appearances on major music programs and domestic and international fan meetings to show their appreciation to the fans who have been waiting for them.
Starting from June 3rd and 4th, we will begin with congratulatory performances on the youth stage in Ulsan, Gyeongnam. We are also preparing for many promotions including the Chungju Dive Festival on the 15th and performances for military bases.
