In the third episode of tvN’s ‘Dancing Queens on the Road’ that aired on June 8th, the members were shown traveling to Yeosu and Gwangyang in Jeollanam-do.
On this day, Hwasa (안혜진), member of KPOP girl group Mamamoo, confessed, “I tend to have a lot of anger. On stage, when I’m singing, I feel like I’m at the peak when I have venom in me.”
When Lee Hyori asked, “When was the most negative moment on stage?”
Hwasa replied, “It was ‘Maria.’ I live my life with good intentions while working hard on music, but people only judge me by my appearance, which makes me angry. At that time, no matter what the result was, I had to let it all out on stage. I couldn’t do it in front of people, so the only place to let it out was on stage.”
BoA said, “No one can touch me on stage, right? This time is mine. That’s why it feels like killing two birds with one stone.”
Meanwhile, Lee Hyori said, “The song I was most negative about was ‘Chitty Chitty Bang Bang.’ I don’t even remember it now, but I was stressed. I let everything out, even wearing an alien costume. Didn’t I look like a unicorn?” and laughed.
‘Dancing Queens on the Road’ airs every Thursday at 10:30 pm and features the best female artists in Korea who continue the legacy of dance singers. The program follows their nationwide tour concerts where they meet fans and enjoy their daily lives together.
