IU (이지은) just released her first haircut vlog video on her official YouTube channel ‘이지금’ titled ‘[IU TV] First Time Revealing Haircut! l IU’s Bob Cut Transformation Vlog.’
When asked about the reason behind filming this video, IU laughed and said, “It’s my first haircut vlog. I wanted to share the process of cutting my hair with everyone.”
The hairstylist, while working on her hair, expressed concerns about making it too short, saying, “I hope it won’t affect the styling for dramas. Also, since we have many filming commitments, there are limitations on how much we can cut.”
IU responded, “As I have been active for a long time, I tend to stick to what I’ve been doing. Sometimes the hairstylist suggests something different.” The hairstylist replied, “I’m actually grateful that you allow me to make suggestions. I appreciate that you accept and work with them.”
Due to developing allergies, IU became cautious about dyeing or perming her hair. She said, “Even before, I didn’t try various colors through dyeing. But lately, I feel that my condition has improved, so I’m considering dyeing. If I were to try it for the first time, is there a color you suggest?”
The hairstylist proposed, “A slightly beige ash gray. I think it would be nice to try that color for your album.”
While cutting her hair, IU mentioned, “Our fans have a range of preferences, some love short hair while others prefer long hair. Based on their opinions, the consensus seems to be that a medium-length hairstyle is the most beautiful.”
After the cut, she gently touched her hair and exclaimed, “It looks great! It suits me well,” showing her satisfaction with the result.
