The latest brand reputation rankings for idol groups have been unveiled by the Korean Business Research Institute.
To determine the rankings, the institute analyzed consumer participation, media coverage, interaction, and community awareness indexes of various idol groups. The data was collected from April 25 to May 25, and the rankings reflect the results.
Maintaining their dominance, BTS once again secured the top spot with a brand reputation index of 6,638,894 for May. The group’s keyword analysis revealed phrases like “10th anniversary medal,” “THE PLANET,” and “Billboard” as significant, while their highest-ranking related terms included “achieve,” “award,” and “release.” Furthermore, the positivity-negativity analysis indicated that BTS garnered an impressive 87.56 percent positive reactions.
In second place, BLACKPINK held firm with a brand reputation index of 5,316,470, continuing to solidify their standing among idol groups.
Coming in at a close third was IVE, with a brand reputation index of 5,020,997 for the month. The group’s consistent presence in the top rankings showcases their growing popularity.
SEVENTEEN experienced a remarkable surge, climbing to the fourth position. They achieved a remarkable 96.15 percent increase in their brand reputation index since April, reaching a total score of 4,695,065 for May.
Finally, rounding out the top five was NewJeans, who secured a brand reputation index of 4,063,240. Their consistent performance contributed to their strong placement in the rankings.
