Korean actors Song Jaerim and Kim So-eun, who denied dating rumors after a trip to Japan, are once again facing speculation about their relationship. Recently, a photo obtained by Osen showed that the two stars uploaded similar images of red roses on their respective social media accounts on May 21, two months ago. The roses looked alike, leading to speculation that the pictures were taken at the same place or time.
Earlier this year, Song and Kim were embroiled in dating rumors after they posted pictures from their trip to Tokyo in late March. Fans claimed to have seen the couple together and even matched their bags. Nevertheless, their agencies denied that they were in a romantic relationship and said they went on a trip with staff members.
In response to recent rumors about a possible romantic relationship between actors Kim So-eun and Song Jae-rim, representatives from both of their agencies have denied the speculation. According to a representative from Kim’s agency, Ascendio, the two actors are simply close friends, and the rose photo that sparked the rumors was taken while Kim was traveling with her manager.
Song’s agency, People Entertainment, also denied the dating rumors and stated that the two actors have not met up specially after their trip to Japan. The rose photo, which appeared on both actors’ Instagram accounts, was reportedly taken by Kim in her hometown.
Kim and Song first met in 2014 when they were cast as a virtual couple on the variety show “We Got Married.” They went on to win the “Best Couple Award” at that year’s MBC Entertainment Awards and later appeared as co-stars in the drama “Our Gab Soon” in 2016. Last year, Kim even appeared as a guest judge on Song’s variety show “Penthouse Dinner.”
Despite rumors and speculation, it seems that Kim and Song are just friends and colleagues in the entertainment industry. However, some fans remain skeptical and hope that the stars will confirm their love story soon.
