Spotify, the world’s largest audio and music streaming platform, announced on the 13th that it has launched the ‘MyTop 5: BTS Songs’ in-app feature to commemorate BTS’ 10th debut anniversary.
Listeners can use this feature provided by the Spotify mobile app to select their top 5 favorite songs from BTS and create a shareable card to post on social media.
Using ‘MyTop 5: BTS Songs’ is simple. After updating the Spotify app to the latest version, users can visit https://spotify.com/top5 on their devices. Here, they can explore numerous songs curated by BTS and rank their top 5 favorites. Users can also choose a background image that highlights the group or their favorite member.
Based on this, a personalized shareable card is automatically generated, which can be easily shared on social media. This interactive experience is available in a total of 48 countries, including Korea, and supports 15 languages.
BTS expressed, “Every journey with BTS has been special, and through that process, we were able to share diverse music. We hope that many people will participate in Spotify’s ‘My Top: BTS Songs’ to enjoy a new experience and share their favorite songs.”
A Spotify representative said, “Through ‘MyTop 5: BTS Songs,’ we hope fans can celebrate BTS’ 10th debut anniversary with even more joy. We are pleased to be able to celebrate together. We will continue to make efforts to connect artists and fans in various ways.”
Spotify has previously offered the ‘My Top 5′ feature for artists like The Weeknd, Kendrick Lamar, and ROSALÍA, but BTS’ ‘My Top 5’ feature is the first to support a Korean artist.
