According to JYP Entertainment, the agency of Stray Kids, their third album, “★★★★★ (5-STAR)” (Five Star), achieved a remarkable pre-order sales milestone of 4.93 million copies on the day of its release. This is the highest pre-order sales ever recorded in K-pop history.
Stray Kids previously became a “million-selling artist” with their second full-length album, “NOEASY,” released in August 2021, which sold a total of approximately 1.675 million copies (based on Circle Chart). Following that, their mini-album “ODDINARY,” released in March 2022, continued the million-selling streak with approximately 1.856 million copies sold. Their subsequent release in October of the same year, “MAXIDENT,” showcased a remarkable surge in sales with approximately 3.4217 million copies sold.

Ahead of the album release, Stray Kids unveiled their signature teaser content called “UNVEIL: TRACK,” which introduced some of the songs on the album. The video quickly rose to the top ranks of YouTube’s trending worldwide, further increasing expectations both domestically and internationally. Additionally, teaser videos for the two title tracks of the album, set to be released on the 29th and 30th, have been eagerly awaited, drawing global attention to Stray Kids’ first comeback song of 2023.
Stray Kids’ third full-length album is set to be released on June 2nd at 1 PM.
